About Bur Oak Hundesport

Bur Oak Hundesport was formed on January 12, 2003 and is a not-for-profit organization.  Diverse founding members include several breeding kennels, and novice through expert members in all three phases of Schutzhund training and competition (tracking, obedience and protection work).  All members belong to the GSDCA-WDA and the club is A WDA affiliate. 
CLUB OBJECTIVES 

Bur Oak encourages and promotes the training of purebred German Shepherd Working Dogs and other desirable breeds, such as Rottweilers, Dobermans and Belgian Malinois in the sport of Schutzhund.   Realizing that there are many successful methodologies of training, Bur Oak encourages its members to a routine and environment that provides positive and motivational methods that succeed!  We encourage member participation and dogs that have fun with their handlers and succeed in their accomplishments.
